We wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful cards and gifts we have received over the past few weeks. It has been a difficult time for the team and for our patients as we have made so many changes to the way we work and the way we deliver our services. We have been busy changing all of our IT systems and adding new initiatives such as video calls, email consultations and text messaging. This has been very successful and the team have been busy learning new skills and redesigning how we approach our work.
With any rapid change to services there are bound to be some bumps in the road and the team at Barnfield have taken every new change in their stride, they have supported each other as colleagues and have been a great support to our shielded, vulnerable and unwell patients, helping them to navigate the changes that Covid 19 has brought to all of us.
We are very proud of our team and also very humbled by the support we have received from our patients. We have had offers of support for making and printing 3D masks for the team, local companies have supported with donations of PPE masks and sanitizer, patients have sent in cards and messages of support, as well as posting messages of support on our website. This has been greatly appreciated.
